1. Draw around a series of objects on a big piece of paper e.g a block, a plate, a spoon etc. Leave the objects lying around the piece of paper and encourage your child to match them up to the correct place on the paper. 

2. Can you make your own ‘colour monsters’ using cardboard boxes. Paint the box and decorate as you wish, make a hold for his mouth. Can you feed the monster some objects of the same colour? 

3. Create your own ‘Elmer’ elephant using cut out pieces of paper/stamps. Use a range of different colours. 

4. Use chalk to write a series of 3 letter words on the pavement outside. Jump to each letter one at a time and sound them out. Can you blend the letter sounds together. What words can you read?
