Today is the Queens Birthday!
1. Can you design your own birthday cake? You could even make it 3D or maybe you could bake a cake and decorate it!
2. Can you create your own Crown? Use a variety of creative resources or you could even make a ‘nature crown’ using outdoor resources too.
3. Can you create a Union Jack? Stick it on to a stick or a lollipop stick to create your own flag.
4. Can you have your own picnic ‘tea party’ to celebrate the Queens Birthday. Can you prepare your own sandwich or lunch to have at your tea party?
5. Some of our Pre-school children will be making their own fact files about the Queen today. Can you make your own? Where does the Queen live? Who does she live with? Why does the Queen have two birthdays?
6. Make your own ‘Tea Party’ sensory tray to enjoy outside in the warm weather. Add water, teabags, cups and spoons for your child to make their own ‘tea’.
