Babies – ‘Today we will be making our own biscuits’ – Baking and Cooking are great activities to extend vocabulary and language. They also support your babies physical skills when pouring, mixing and scooping ingredients. Can you bake some biscuits at home?
Pre-school – Today we will be making 2D shape fire engines. Can you talk to your child about the shapes they might need? Circles for wheels, Rectangle for the Engine, Squares for windows etc. Encourage them to cut out the shapes independently (support where necessary) and use the cut out shapes to make their own Fire Engine.
