Today’s daily challenge for the older children:

1. To create a move like an animal dice. Pick 6 animals that you like & draw them onto a dice/cube. Roll the dice & whichever animals it lands on you imitate the actions and sounds of that animal.
2. Animal sort by attributes. Make a group of 3 which will be animals with stripes, spots and plain prints. Then match the animal’s prints into the correct group.
3. To develop your writing skills, choose your favourite animal and write down 4 facts about that animal.

For babies:

1. Create your own animal mask using different materials & colours.
2. Create an animal rescue tray. Use a big spoon to rescue the animals and place them into a different tray. This will encourage fine and gross motor skills and also hand & eye coordination.
3. We’re going on an animal hunt! Hide animals around your garden or house & see if your little ones can find the animals. Encourage the babies to make animals sounds.
4. Making animal tracks. Cut out an animal shaped foot, stick some ribbons to the shaped foot and then tie it onto your foot, lay some paint onto a paper and make animal foot prints using different colours.

Enjoy!
