Toddlers and Pre School your theme for today is Road safety:
1. Can you name the colours of the traffic lights ( Pre School can you write down what each of the colours mean)
2. We will be categorising objects to match the colours in the traffic lights ( e.g find all the objects that are red, amber and green)
3. Can you all join in the traffic light game, this is a member of your family will say a colour ( red, amber, green) when they say the name you complete that action for example red means stop, amber means get ready and green means go
4. If you complete your daily walk today can you tally how many traffic lights or zebra crossings you see.
5. Create your own road map of the route you take on your walk or of your route to or back from Nursery. Can you draw any landmarks that you see on your routes e.g. Churches or Schools?
Babies can you:
1. Create your own traffic light sensory tuff tray
2. Can you create your own texture book using different resources around your house or garden?
3. Can you practice threading using sting and a cut out cardboard box
