This week’s theme is based on flowers.
For today’s challenge we would like the older children to:
1. Name 3 types of flowers.
2. Draw the life cycle of a flower.
3. If you have any flower seeds, plant them in your garden and take pictures of each stage that it has reached.
4. Create your very own flower perfume using flowers from your garden.
5. To practice numbers draw your own flowers with a number on them, once done categorise objects to match the number on your flowers.
Babies can you:
1. Create your own paper plate flower
2. Feel the different textures of different flowers that you may have in your garden
3. Create your own flower potion to encourage fine and gross motor skills to mix the ingredients.
4. Use an empty toilet roll/ Kitchen roll cut the rolls into a flower shape and encourage your child to do some flower printing.
