Babies: Today’s daily challenge is to create recycled CD wind twirlers! You can do this by using old CD that you may have laying around the house. Use as many different material to make it as colourful.
Learning outcomes are:
1. Encourage the babies to explore the textures by using their fine motor skills.
2. To encourage their speech by using simple word & sounds.
3. Incorporate numbers into the activity, by repeating number names.
Toddlers & Pre-school: Today’s daily challenge is to create colourful frozen paint & then create your own masterpiece using the frozen paint. Mix paint & water together, place it into an ice cube tray & then place a wooden stick to use as a handle. Let it freeze and then create a masterpiece!
Learning outcomes are:
1. To practice writing skills and handle the tool with increasing control.
2. Give meaning to marks they make as they paint.
3. Explore to what happens when they mix colours.
Take as many pictures as you can & send them in. Have fun!
