For Babies, we would like you to create some fruity ice cubes! You can do this by using as many juices that you can find and either mixing them up together to see what colours they mix into or keeping one juice, it is entirely your control! Once the ice has set, explore how the ice melts and what resources you will need for this. As the weather is becoming nice and the sun has finally got his hat on (YAY!) maybe you can taste them like ice lollies. Don’t forget to send us those photos and any recipes you have, we can then make them with your friends at nursery!

For Babies two, we would like you to extend on this and work on their speech, encouraging the names of the colours they can see and what fruit juices they used to create their ice cubes or ice lollies.

Today’s daily challenge for Toddlers & Pre-school is to create a Friendship Tree, their friends at nursery miss them so much and they would really love to see photos of them talking about why they are friends and who they miss most. You can create a friendship tree by painting their handprints as leaves and asking your children who their friends are at nursery and encourage them to tell who they miss the most and what they are going to play when they get together again. You can also extend on this and practice those writing skills, writing on the handprint leaves a little sentence about your friend. We will make a friendship tree at nursery and take photos of it so you can see your friends on the Norfolk house Facebook page.
