The sun shone brightly on our sports afternoon with a fantastic turnout by families making it a thoroughly enjoyable afternoon.
Y3 and Y4 pupils started the event off with a round robin of activities which included; golden goal, bean bag toss, precision bowling, hoop shoot and egg and spoon races.
The Y5 and Y6 took over from them a bit later on in the afternoon.
The children all entered into the spirit of the afternoon with confidence and skill.
The pupils took part in the events keenly, combining sportsmanship with an eagerness to win and were delighted to receive house points for their successes.
Parents were served strawberries and cream in true British style as refreshments at the end.
