School Council

At Norfolk House school we value the thoughts, ideas and suggestions of our pupils and believe that everyone should have a voice.

School Council Members are elected by their peers every term. Prospective Members  propose their ideas to their classmates, outlining what they hope to achieve within the council if they are successful.

Each class from Year 1 to Year 6 has two Members on the council, one boy and one girl, thus ensuring that all views and ideas are fairly represented.

A meeting is held every fortnight.  Thereafter, Members report the content of the meeting to their classmates.

The School Council has proposed and helped to organise a number of events and initiatives, including:

Jubilee Fun Day

Pink Mother’s Day March

Children In Need Brunch

Wild Animal Day

 Action Against Hunger Day

World Book Day
